Demitri Maximoff has appeared in every Darkstalkers game as well as the crossovers SNK vs. Capcom: SVC Chaos and Capcom Fighting Evolution. He is given the "three sacred tools" of fighting games: a projectile, an anti-air attack and a rushing attack. Demitri also has the ability to vanish while performing his dash.

In Darkstalkers 3, Demitri gains the attack Midnight Bliss, where he transforms the opponent into a female (if they are male) and drains their blood. This attack is also seen in SVC Chaos.
